Renaming Compound Clips

When you create a from scratch, New Compound Clip in the Event Browser (Option-G), you are given the opportunity to name it then. If you didn't get a chance to name it right the first time, you can rename it in the Event Browser. But what if you create a Compound in the TL and want to rename it?

1. Select the Compound Clip in the Timeline.

2. Open the Inspector. (Command-4)

3. In the Inspector, choose the Info pane at the top.

4. Rename the Compound Clip via the Name field.

While you are there, click the Action pop-up (Gear button at the bottom right of the Inspector) to Edit Compound Clip Settings if necessary.
